Quick and Easy Halloween Craft - Spiders

For family night, we decided to make spiders out of foam balls and pipe cleaners. This is a fun and
simple craft for the whole family (just make sure your kids are wearing aprons/smocks and you have plenty of newspaper to put down). We painted foam balls in "Halloween colors" and then stuck pipe cleaners in our spiders. Each family member created two spiders! This craft is fairly inexpensive most of my supplies I got from Michaels. We got the idea from Crafts for All Seasons, check it out here.

The Farmstead Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival Review

My family and I went to The Farmstead Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival in Meridian, Idaho to help us celebrate the fall and Halloween season. There were many fun and family activities for all ages. I was impressed with the variety of things to do. My son enjoyed the slides, walking through a little wooden town, playing in the corn boxes. We also went on the grain train, went through a maze and picked pumpkins in their vast pumpkin patches. We only stayed for a few hours, but next year we might make a whole day out of it!
