- Shoot for the Moon: The Space Race and Extraordinary Voyage of Apollo 11 by James Donovan: This book was extremely fascinating! I enjoyed learning about the space race, the astronauts, and space missions. This is a must read!
- The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House by Kate Anderson Bower: This is a fascinating read. It reads almost like a gossip magazine and you learn about the interesting dynamics behind the White House doors.
- Secrets and Suitors by Joanna Barker: This regency romance really hits the mark! The characters are interesting and dynamic. The story moves quickly and is a fun read.
- A Clever Alliance by Laura Beers: Beers created an enjoyable fun romance with some creative scenes. This story was entertaining!
- The Radium Girls by Kate Moore: This was a mixture between fascinating and a horrific read. You see how careless corporations can be and how dangerous naivety can be for employees.
- The Heart of a Rebellion by Sian Bessey: Although I was hoping for a spin-off of The Gem Thief that I read in 2018, this book was really fascinating. This historical fiction explores romance and history between the Welsh and English. Eleanor and the Iron King by Julie Daines pairs nicely with this book.
- The Roses of Feldstone by Esther Hatch: This was such a sweet romance. I loved the characters and the story.
- All Hearts Come Home by Christmas by Sarah M. Eden, Esther Hatch, Joanna Barker, Anita Stansfield: The short story by Esther Hatch was by the far the funniest story that I read all year. I was laughing out loud. It was ridiculously good. The novella by Eden is a must for any of her fans. I loved revisiting some of my favorite characters!
- A Proper Scandal by Esther Hatch: Hatch presses her characters into hard situations and finds humor in mocking society and its constraints. I enjoyed this novel.
- The Heart of a Vicar by Sarah M. Eden: If you love regency romance, Sarah Eden's novels are a must read. This is a continuation of her Jonquil series.
- Escape to Everly Manor by Chalon Linton: This was an interesting read. I enjoyed the characters and the romance.
- A Guarded Heart by Heidi Kimball: I enjoyed the story and Kimball's writing style. This was an entertaining read!
- Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Mathematicians Who Helped Win the Space Race by Margot Lee Shetterly: This was a fascinating and inspiring read. These women not only pushed through prejudices against their race, but also gender. You also learn how incredibly valuable mathematics can be. It's a fascinating STEM and historical read.
