Back to School Books

Kids are back at school or getting ready to go back to school. There are so many excellent books available that help kids get excited about learning and going to school. Reading books about what kids are experiencing can help them adjust and to get excited about a new school year. Here are some of our favorites:

We love the "Mouse" books by Laura Numeroff. If You Take A Mouse to School explores what happens if you take a mouse to school and what adventures you might have. To learn more, click here.

Henry's 100 Days of Kindergarten explores Henry's year in kindergarten. This is one of our household's favorite book to read. The story is engaging and fun to young ones. To learn more, click here.

Olivia goes to school, but she has to use her own Olivia style to make things a little fun. Olivia tells her classmates about the time she saved the circus. Olivia books are fun, clever, and unique. We love reading the adventures about Olivia. To learn more about how Olivia Saves the Circus, click here.

Winnie puts Waldorf in "Disobedience" School to help prepare him/her for school. I liked how the author has Winnie help prepare her dog to get ready for school as a way to help herself get excited for her first day of kindergarten. We enjoy reading this story and I am sure you will too. To learn more about Winnie & Waldorf Disobedience School, click here.
