The ESV Illuminated Bible contains gorgeous illustrations. The illustrations are subtle and add additional beauty to several of the verses. Several of the pages are so gorgeous that I can easily see them as a print for a picture frame. Even though there are extra wide margins to leave space for writing, this bible seems too fine for writing or notes. This would be an amazing family bible and would be fun to to pull out at Christmas time to read the Christmas Story as a family. I also liked how the numbers for the verses are smaller and less noticeable.
