Jump Time Adventure with GetOutPass Idaho

Friday, April 26, 2019

GetOutPass Idaho helps make it easier for families to get out to enjoy numerous places with huge savings. We used our pass to go to Jump Time in Boise. We went on a weekday and it was great. It wasn't crowded so I think my kids were able to overcome their shyness faster. They were hesitant about jumping and playing at first, but they eventually became braver and enjoyed playing dodge ball on a trampoline, jumping into a foam pit and seeing how high they could jump. We've been home bound for a few days so it was nice to get out and do something different. My kids had so much fun. After we left, my kids were asking to go again sometime. It's a great place for kids to go and play.

With the GetOutPass Idaho, you can go to Jump Time in Boise monthly for an hour. The prices are $9 for a kids 5+, $7 for 3-4 year olds, and $5 for 1 -2 year olds. If we were to go without the pass once a month for a year, it would cost $192. The GetOutPass is normally $99.95 per person. By using the special discount code,“IDAHO40," you can get $40 off the cost per person making the passes $59.95. With access to all of these venues this pass can result in great savings and allows you to get out and do fun things at a low cost especially when compared to the normal admission prices. If you want to go out more and save more, check out the GetOutPass for Idaho!

The Heiress Novella Review

Tuesday, April 23, 2019

Nicholas, the new Duke of Blackborne, is surprised to discover, that along with inheriting a title, he's also inherited a ward, Penelope Foster. Nicholas plans to fulfill his responsibilities with military precision.

Penelope recently finished finishing school and plans to live out her days alone or to marry for love. She's in for a surprise when she meets the new Duke of Blackborne. The two quickly are at odds, but can they come together when they discover a web of greed and deceit?

The Heiress is more light-hearted than Laura Beers's regency spy series, The Beckett Series. The story was a fun, enjoyable story that I could easily read and I found it relaxing. The characters were interesting and I really enjoyed the side characters as well. I could see Beers easily making stories for each the side characters.  The personalities of the characters were easily distinguishable, different, and really came alive in the story. I could tell that the Beers had fun writing the characters and scenes. It really came through in her writing and descriptions. Penelope is a little bit of a troublemaker, but in a good way. I liked that Penelope was a strong female character who wanted to get involved with her own life and the things around her. Nicholas came off a little like the prince in "Beauty and the Beast" fairy tale. He was very gruff, stern and a little broken. He needed Penelope to help him find happiness in his life again. It's something that I would recommend reading. The Heiress is part of Miss Belle's Finishing School series. The series follows graduates of the finishing school and is written by several different authors. The Heiress is book 2 of the series. The other books in the series are as follows:

The Heiress kindle version is only $1.99 and the paperback is only $7.99 on Amazon.  To buy a copy today, click here.

GetOutPass in Idaho

Tuesday, April 16, 2019

Sometimes it’s a struggle to figure out places to go for playdates with kids, date night, or family time. When planning something to do, I usually find myself thinking of the same ideas over-and-over again. Our go-to ideas for playdates are going to someone’s house or to a nearby park. Our go-to ideas for date night are eating out, biking on the Greenbelt or around the neighborhood, taking a walk, or going to see a movie. Our go-to ideas for family time are taking a short hike or going to a park. With a family of five, it’s hard to get out and do things that cost money. Admission prices can add-up quickly so we typically limit things like bowling, play centers or the aquarium to only once a year or for special events.

GetOutPass Idaho helps make it easier for families to get out to numerous places with huge savings. GetOutPass Idaho is a paid membership to get access to multiple venues multiple times per year. Venues include:

  • Miracle & Banbury Hot Springs (Quarterly)
  • Asana Climbing Gym (Bi-Annual)

With access to all of these venues this pass can result in great savings and allows you to get out and do fun things at a low cost especially when compared to the normal admission prices. With this pass, I no longer have to cringe about the price when friends ask if we want to go to JumpTime (although I would still recommend going their least busy time possible),  to the Aquarium, or bowling. I have a list of possible date night activities with my husband that are fun and the pass will more than pay for itself the more we go out and use it. If you want to go out more and save more, check out the GetOutPass for Idaho! Click here to learn more.

The Baron's Daughter Review

Monday, April 15, 2019

To the ton, Lord Morgan Easton is a golden boy and "known" rake. In reality, Easton is a spy for the home office. When he discovers that the well-known French spy, Genet, will be attending a house party, Easton is assigned to infiltrate the gathering posing as a married man. He convinces Miss Josette Northcutt to help him.

Josette Northcutt keeps several secrets and enjoys her role as a headmistress at a private school in the rookeries. When Lord Morgan requests her help and provides her an offer she can't refuse, she steps out of her comfort zone and becomes a spy.

As Josette and Lord Morgan begin to unravel the nefarious plot, they learn that they must trust each other and find that not only are their lives on the line but their hearts.

The Baron's Daughter is the sixth book of The Beckett Files by Laura Beers. I've enjoyed reading this series. It's exciting, romantic, adventurous, full of intrigue and mystery. Beers also empowers her women characters to break the norm and to find their own strength. The book moves along quickly and is easy to read. Josette gradually loses her "edginess" and "bristles" as she gets to know Lord Morgan. She also doesn't seem as aloof as in the fifth book, A Deceptive Bargain, which comes from knowing her perspective rather than reading about her from another character's perspective. It's interesting to see her change and develop into a more trusting and forgiving character. It was a clean, fun read. I would recommend this book and this series to those who love regency books. I can't wait to see what Beers comes up with next!

I Can Choose Joy with God Blog Tour, Review and Giveaway

Tuesday, April 9, 2019

Everyone has different trials and sometimes it can seem like it's too much to bare. Each of the stories in this collection shows how several different women seek God during hard times and are able to find joy in their lives. The women in the stories are all members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have concerns ranging from finances to anxiety.

I enjoyed reading about the various women in these stories. Each of them are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but they all have different life experiences and problems. It was interesting to see how they faced their trials and seek joy with God. The stories were inspiring and uplifting. It was easy to pick up and read a story or two at a time. More Space Less Junk

Monday, April 8, 2019

During the Spring, I like to sort through our belongings and get rid of anything that we don’t need. If it’s something that we haven’t touched in years or can’t use anymore, I get rid of it. I sell clothes at online consignment stores, donate or sell dvds and books, and donate miscellaneous items. I enjoy purging, it makes our life seem more organized, free, and less cluttered. I also enjoy getting cash back on things that we can’t use anymore. I can put that money towards other items, build-up our savings, or use it on groceries. Even large items like cars can be cashed in to eliminate clutter and free up space. If our car ever becomes a “junk” car, I will definitely consider using Junk Car Masters.

With Junk Car Masters, you can sell your junk cars quickly and easily. Even if your vehicle is salvaged, damaged, wrecked, or totaled. Junk Car Masters will give you an instant offer with no hassle or obligation that includes free pick-up and you can get paid within 24-48 hours. Offers from Junk Car Masters range from $100 to $25,000 dollars. All their services are free.

Miss Adeline's Match Blog Tour, Review and Giveaway

Tuesday, April 2, 2019

Miss Aideline Hayes is the perfect lady's companion for Charity Edgeworth. She's proper, pleasant and converses easily. When Charity breaks off her engagement unexpectedly, Aideline finds her skills put to the test as she seeks a new match for Charity.

Joanna Barker writes a dynamic and fresh regency story. The characters make many mistakes in dealing with each other and there are several twists and turns. I liked that their flaws helped move the story along without making the characters any less likeable. There were also several characters in this book, but the author does a good job at making them distinct. It would be interesting to see if Barker writes another story based on any of the side characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this fast-paced, easy-to-read romance. I would recommend this book to regency readers. To learn more, click here.
