On a coldish day, my son and I decided to check out the Aquarium of Boise. The Aquarium of Boise features birds, reptiles and fish. We spent about an hour at the Aquarium and my son loved it. His favorite exhibit was the sting rays. He loved watching the sting rays swim around and splash in the water. The only downside was after a while he swung his leg up and tried to get in. I noticed that another little boy also tried to do the same. The other little boy didn't have a parent around, luckily his older brother stopped him from climbing into the tank. If you go to the Aquarium with children, please stay close and watch them!
There were several volunteers around the aquarium holding lizards that you could ask questions and learn more about the animals. Depending on the lizard, the volunteer would let you touch or feed it.
The Aquarium is a great place to take little ones and allow them to watch the fish and animals. To learn more about the Aquarium of Boise, click here.
